This Policy explains how ANOC (“ANOC”, “we”, “us”), at anoc.pk, handles personal data. ANOC is a platform that lets merchants run their own online stores. It covers both merchants who open a store and shoppers who buy from a store hosted on ANOC.

1. Who controls your data

For platform accounts and the running of ANOC itself, we are the controller of your data. For a shopper’s order placed on a store, the merchant who owns that store is the controllerof that order’s data - they ship and handle the order. ANOC processes that data to host the store, take payment, and monitor how the store performs.

2. Data we collect

  • Merchants: name, email, phone, business and store details, login credentials, and payout information.
  • Shoppers: name, contact details, shipping address, and order details you give when buying from a store.
  • Payments: payment status and reference details from our payment partners. ANOC does not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: device, browser, IP address, and how stores and pages are used, which we use to run and monitor the platform.

3. How we use data

  • To create and run stores, process orders, and take payments.
  • To calculate fees and merchant payouts (5% deducted on online payments; nothing deducted on COD).
  • To monitor how each store performs on the platform - for quality, fraud prevention, and support. Monitoring performance does not make ANOC responsible for shipping or order management; that stays with the merchant.
  • To communicate about your account, orders, and security.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. How we share data

  • With merchants:a shopper’s order and delivery details are shared with the store they bought from, so the merchant can ship and support the order.
  • Service providers: payment gateways, hosting, email, and analytics partners that help us run the platform, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the platform.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and understand usage. A store owner may add their own marketing pixel (for example, a Meta Pixel) to their store; each store’s tracking is scoped to that single store and is the merchant’s responsibility.

6. Data retention

We keep data for as long as your account or store is active and for as long afterwards as we need to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We then delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your login details confidential.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to certain uses. For data tied to a specific order on a store, contact that merchant; for platform data, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

ANOC is not intended for anyone under the age required to enter a contract under Pakistani law, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time without prior notice. The current version always lives at this page. Your continued use of ANOC after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
